18 U.S.C. § 2257 Statement

Why the US federal record-keeping rules for sexually explicit visual content don't apply to this site, and who is responsible on the platforms it links to.

What § 2257 Requires

Section 2257 of Title 18 of the United States Code, together with 28 C.F.R. Part 75, requires producers of visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct to keep records proving every performer was 18 or over, and to show a notice naming the custodian of those records.

Why It Doesn't Apply Here

This site doesn't produce or host visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct. It publishes written coverage, a logo and illustrations that show adults and contain no sexually explicit conduct. None of that is material covered by § 2257 record-keeping.

Platforms Linked From This Site

The platforms in the ai sex chat comparison are independent companies, each responsible for its own legal obligations, including any under § 2257 and the law where it operates. One of them, DreamGF, publishes its own 18 U.S.C. 2257 exemption page. Linking to a platform doesn't make this site responsible for what it hosts.

Why a New Zealand Site Has This Page

§ 2257 is US law, and this site is written for New Zealand readers. The statement stays because readers from the US land here too, and because it states the site's position plainly: it covers platforms, it doesn't host explicit material.

Adults-Only Access

Separately from § 2257, the site is 18+ through a self-certification gate described on the age verification page.
